MATT BROUWER GARNERS JUNO AWARD, CANADA’S HIGHEST MUSICAL HONOR
ST. JOHN’S, NL—Acclaimed singer/songwriter Matt Brouwer has received the JUNO Award for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year from the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (CARAS) for his latest recording, Where’s Our Revolution. Brouwer accepted the award Saturday at the 2010 JUNO Gala Dinner and Awards held at St. John’s Convention Centre in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Other 2010 JUNO Award winners included Michael Buble, Kings of Leon and K’haan. The JUNO Award is considered Canada’s equivalent of the GRAMMY® Award.
Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, Brouwer attended Bible college in Alberta where he began his journey as a singer/songwriter/recording artist. In addition to the Juno Award, he has also received two GMA Canada Covenant Awards and two Vibe Awards (Canadian People’s Choice).
Where’s Our Revolution, Brouwer’s third studio recording, was produced by GRAMMY® Award winner Michael Omartian. Re-released in August as a Deluxe Edition by Indie Extreme/Universal Music Christian Group, the project features 12 new songs written or co-written by Brouwer, including the recent Top 20 hit, “Sometimes.”

LAURA KACZOR SCHEDULED TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM “LOVE ENOUGH”
LifeThirst P2 Tour Kicks off 2010 Tour at Valley Forge Christian CollegeLifeThirst Records/Indie Extreme recording artist, songwriter, and worship leader, Laura Kaczor (pronounced kuh ZOR), announced the release of her new album “Love Enough” in the March issue of My CCM Magazine and on “Hear It First”. The album’s powerful title song, Love Enough, released the end of March to CCM AC and Soft AC formats, is already experiencing success with an early Billboard station add and listing as “Most Added” on BDSRadio.com charts this week. The digital release of the full album is scheduled for April 13 through Indie Extreme’s distribution partner, Universal Music Christian Group. Kaczor co-wrote 9 out of 10 songs on the album, collaborating with award-winning producer and songwriter Don Koch as well as award-winning songwriters Brian White, Chad Cates and Carl Cartee.
Don Koch has won six Dove Awards including Song of the Year, Inspirational Record of the Year, and Inspirational Song of the Year. Don has 38 number one songs in his catalog, including “In Christ Alone”, “Real Thing”, and “The Basics of Life”. His songs are included on CDs of both Christian and Country major artists. Koch has brought all of this experience and talent to Laura Kaczor’s project.
Award winning artist and songwriter, Brian White, co-wrote All Around Me and Invisible on “Love Enough.” He has written 12 number one songs and won two Dove Awards for Inspirational Song of the Year and Southern Gospel Song of the Year.
Laura Kaczor is the founder and worship leader for the LifeThirst P2 Tour. The inaugural event took place at Valley Forge Christian College on Feb. 28, 2010. She is honored to be a part of this worship/evangelism/teaching conference and will be traveling to 10 cities across the U.S. throughout 2010. Laura is also the founder of “Lift Up U”niversity” Girl’s Conferences where she is both a speaker and worship leader. In addition, Laura will be on the “Love Enough” CD release tour throughout the country sharing her new album and the stories behind these inspiring songs.

Indie Extreme artists collaborate for Quimi’s “Where Is Your Soul” EP release
Black Shoe Records/Indie Extreme award-winning singer-songwriter, Matt Brouwer is producing the latest effort from California native Quimi.Alaniz. Quimi embarked on her first full tour opening for Matt and his band last Spring. Touring together created an opportunity for both to develop a creative connection inspiring the direction of her new music and career. Quimi moved to Houston, TX in the Summer/Fall and began writing with Matt and collecting songs for this project. The pair decided on six songs that challenged Quimi with a new sound. With Brouwer’s input she has created a sound all her own that shows her heart and soul and goes deeper than ever before. Quimi said, “I want this album to speak truth and Matt helped me find the words to convey something real and authentic.”
Quimi, M&M Ministries/Indie Extreme, is a young artist with goals of spreading God’s message internationally through her music. A nationally ranked tennis player at 16 years old, she always dreamed of becoming a singer, but it wasn’t till these past few years that she left tennis and began to pursue her dream. Laura Kaczor has just put the finishing touches on her new album "Love Enough" produced by Multi- Dove award winner, Don Koch. LifeThirst Records is releasing the album digitally through Indie Extreme/Universal Music Christian Group, in April 2010 with single releases of the title cut "Love Enough" and "Invisible".
Laura and Don have been writing the songs for this project since last May after Don saw Laura at the Indie Extreme Independent Artist Showcase at GMA Music Week 2009. After several meetings, it was clear that God had called them together for a purpose. Songwriters Brian White, Carl Cartee, and Chad Cates collaborated on several of the songs that make up the new album, creating a lush landscape of worship, contemplative and up-tempo songs sprinkled throughout
